Country Manager Curacao & Bonaire - Island Finance

• Responsible for providing strategic leadership and management oversight over all operational deliverables for Island Finance Curacao & Bonaire.
• Responsible for the growth and management of the loan portfolio, implementation of collection strategies, execution of operational controls, compliance with all company policies/procedures, and financial performance & results.
• Responsible for implementing Executive Management strategic objectives by developing tactical business plans with mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress.
• Lead the implementation of business solutions, new product development strategies, and new market due diligence throughout your assigned operations.
• Manage client expectations, goals, and service delivery obligations (5 Star Customer Service Program).
• Acting as a mentor for the Branch Managers and Sales Representatives.
• Report to EVP Operations

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 10 years’ experience in consumer lending, preferably in the Curacao and/or Bonaire market. The position is based in Curacao.
• Hands on, multitasking, teamwork-oriented, strong drive for results, collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Thorough understanding of market development
• Strong communication and people management skills, highly organized with the ability to set priorities, highly confidential and excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of the consumer finance industry preferred.
